Teodoro Gregorio Perez was part of the team of great luthiers at the workshop of Jose Ramirez III in the 1960s and continued to work there for twenty-six years. A highly successful partnership with Mariano Tezanos followed, after which the two luthiers went their separate ways.

The workmanship on Teodoro’s instruments is outstanding, and their tone is characteristic of the very best work of the Madrid luthiers. The Maestro model represents some of the workshop’s finest lutherie, with superior tonewoods rendering a world-class concert sound complementing an exceptionally elegant appearance and a meticulous French polish finish.

A superb blend of clarity, responsiveness and balance characterise this lovely concert guitar. The timbre is warm and rounded without sounding heavy. The projection is considerable, and there is an impressive variety of colour across all registers.
